Setting up a company in Morocco involves several steps: choosing the legal structure (SARL, SA, SAS, etc.), reserving the company name with the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), drafting the articles of association, depositing the share capital in the bank, obtaining the negative certificate, registering the articles of association with the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), registering with the Trade Register through the Regional Investment Center (CRI), and finally, registering with the National Social Security Fund (CNSS). In Morocco, there is no minimum capital requirement mandated by law to establish a limited liability company (SARL). You can set up your company with a nominal capital. However, it is advisable to establish a capital level appropriate to your business activities to reassure your business partners and facilitate the opening of a professional bank account.
